Gel nails are a form of artificial nail that is applied like a polish directly onto your nail (no extension like acrylic nails). They are beautiful, super shiny, and feel like your own nails. Once you try them you will never use normal nail polish again!!
BENEFITS TO GEL NAILS//
>>gel nails stay perfectly shiny with no chips or scratches for 1-2 weeks on fingers and 4-6 weeks on toes. Do the dishes, clean your bathroom, etc. You will still have pretty, happy nails. :)
>>gel nail polish cures under an LED lamp between 30-90 seconds (depending on the lamp). Once you take your nails out of the lamp, you are good to dig through your purse to find your keys without any damage to your nails. I am not lying. It's incredible, not to mention quick!
REMOVAL//
Gel nails need to be removed by soaking your nails in 100% acetone for about 15 minutes or so. And picking at your nails can remove thin layers of your natural nail. So be sure to remove them correctly.
THE SCOOP ON WHAT I DO//
I only use Gelish polishes (the leader in gel polish) and I use an LED lamp instead of a UV lamp. I don't want skin cancer in my fingers when I am old :) My services include light filing if necessary and polish/nail art. I won't be massaging, lotioning, pushing back cuticles, or clipping ;) I also offer a punch card to my clients. For every five sets you get a set for free! It's my way of saying thanks for coming to me. I do my services out of my home (Signal Butte/Elliot) but I try to do a party once or twice a week so that I can make the rounds.
